Chapter Five

Jon watched Sarah as she dried the dishes and then put the cloth by the fire to dry. She was a mighty fine cook, and deep in his soul he knew what they were about to embark upon was the right thing. Society might look at it as being morally corrupt but deep down Jon had never been the type of man to do what was the norm just for the sake of staying popular.

A man ahead of his time perhaps. Sarah was clearly a woman who also held that view.

She turned around and smiled at him. Shaun had gone home about an hour ago but would return tomorrow to help Jon with harvesting some of the crops he’d planted earlier that year. Sarah would help too and then…

Their new life would begin.

He knew that Sarah was a virgin. She hadn’t offered that information, but when he’d pushed his finger inside her he’d sensed the tightness and the look of fear on her face. Unbeknown to her, he and Shaun had discussed the matter while they’d taken an after supper walk.

“You ever taken a woman’s innocence before?” he’d asked Shaun.

“Never, how about you?”

“Nope, always been with women who have had lots of experience. So which one of us is going to do the deed?” Jon had asked him.

“I think you should. I mean she was going to be your bride.”

“She’s scared about her first time. I could tell when I touched her pussy.”

“Then together we’ll make her feel as relaxed as we can.”

Jon smiled at her, feeling his cock twitch.

Tomorrow seemed like a lifetime away.

Sarah paced up and down by the kitchen table. Both men were outside washing before supper. They’d worked long and hard. Sarah bit her lower lip. Maybe she’d made a terrible mistake. Sexual relations with two men at the same time. Neither of them her husband. One of them was supposed to be her late cousin’s spouse.

Yet, she knew Nina would back her one hundred percent about her decision. She’d always been a forward, free thinker ever since she’d been a young girl.

She heard the men’s voices getting louder and knew they were heading toward the house. Truth was she did want them, both of them. She’d loved the way they’d treated her body when they’d been outside by the lake. She wanted more. However, she had to get through the bad part. The first time being with a man.

Her hands shook as they headed inside. She turned and smiled like nothing was bothering her.

“Um, something smells good yet again.”

“That might be the apple pie I made,” said Sarah.

“You are going to spoil us,” said Jon.

They sat at the table and spoke about how the days harvest went and what they would plant in the spring. It was a whole new world to her and hopefully in time she’d learn to do more things to help them. Tomorrow she’d take her first trip into town to pick up supplies.

“That was wonderful,” said Shaun.

“It really was,” said Jon, putting his hand on top of hers.
